If you've been trying to decide which brand to go for, this brand has the edge on strength, minimum effort required to use, very clean cut with a slightly serated edge which can be easily filed down where sharp edges are unwanted.
The device has a locking mechanism built into the front where one hand usage is what it is all about, definitely designed for the professional tradesman with one less hand free to use such an item to easily fold and put into the toolbelt on the fly. The device also has a large hole built into one of its arms so it can be hung on a tool wall easily.
Very smooth motion and a nice strong spring. Very comfortable grip.
Not really much else to say other than this is one of those tools you buy and can rely on to keep working for a long time. How long will the sharpness keep is down to how many cuts one does and even then it would be down to just sharpening the jaws, however so far we've used it for probably around 200 snips (mostly stainless sheet metal and aluminium capping for wires in walls and a few copper terminal bars) and it still cuts like new, definitely a champ. Also cuts plastic, plastic with metal inside, it will cut through everything sensibly cuttable, money well spent, a great tool in the toolbox.
I've attached a short video without words just to give an idea.
100% recommended purchase, could not be happier, yes it is a little dearer than others, but the design and effortless extra umph it provides makes up for the higher price.
