This torch is great! Super bright, excellent zoom, and superb value. Sure, the battery may be cheap; the charger may be cheap too; and the torch is most certainly cheap. But hey, I can't complain. It may not last forever, but it does give incredibly bright light (although certainly not 1000 lumen) and an excellent and extremely handy zoom lens. The red light is a bonus. Speaking of which, this is certainly the brightest red light I've ever used - by far. In full zoom, even the red light is visible on trees 50m away.
Note: The white light is quite a harsh white. This is not a bad thing, but just thought I should mention it.
Also note: The brightness of the light seems to be the same whether using the included lithium battery or my own AAA alkaline batteries. This is a pleasant surprise!
The best thing about this kit is that it comes with everything: Lithium battery, Charger, cable, and even AAA-battery holder. It is exceptional value!
