To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Make sure to follow the instructions and take one or two extra if you are a big guy. Don't expect to be at 100% the next day, but at least you don't die and will be able to fulfill your adult obligations.
My best friend referred this hangover cure to me so I figured, why not!? All I have to lose is a hangover. The order arrived quickly even though I selected the free shipping option which normally takes longer. I was excited to try this “recovery” option out so I put it to the test for a West Hollywood Sunday Funday outing. You have to take three capsules before you go out and three capsules before bed so it definitely go through them quicker than I was expecting to initially, however I felt decent the next day. While this is not a miracle cure I deafly felt better than I normally do on Monday mornings going to work. An added bonus was about an hour after getting up and getting my day started I started to feel better much sooner than usual. I’m looking forward to trying this recovery option again for the next couple weekends and if it works as well as it did my first time, I can see this as a repeat order .
I'm new to the hangover prevention game. My first attempt was with Thrive+ after seeing it pop up on a Facebook ad. After deciding that it did, in fact, seem to help, I researched alternatives and came across Flyby. I made sure to do some research and see what ingredients really mattered in a pill's efficacy, and found Flyby to contain the most important ingredient: DHM. Flyby is the more affordable option compared to Thrive+, so anyone considering Thrive+ should at least order a bottle of Flyby to compare.
Since ordering Flyby, I've tried it in a variety of settings: a few casual drinks at home, 4-6 strong IPAs at the local brewery, and half a bottle of whiskey while out camping. In each case, I woke up feeling far better than expected and able to get a better start on the day, The worst I felt was after the whiskey night, but I've historically had allergic reactions to heavy amounts of whiskey that no hangover pill can cure. With that said, I was able to party till 1 a.m., then wake up at 6 a.m. to take sunrise photos. I'm a naturally anxious person with a hyperactice nervous system, so anxiety and shaky nerves related to alcohol withdrawal are very real to me. My experience with Flyby has seen that awful symptom effectively disappear. I'll definitely be purchasing another bottle of Flyby while continuing to try different products.
At 41 I'm probably not your usual demographic but I find anything over 2 drinks might spell trouble and sometimes for three days (one intense day which is ultra embarrassing well out of my 20s...and rougher on my body!), two with lingering headaches that threaten to burst back w migraine like pain!) And I love wine...both the little bit it unknots tension and for the flavor and sensory experience.
I had an iffy experience w my first try at a hangover med, a useless second (and a gross liquid to boot) , and then pretty good results w flyby.
2 of 3 tries saw me feeling almost refreshed the next day..almost better than a sober night's sleep. The third was still pretty good...a little headache but nothing unbearable or that really impeded function.
...if you're willing and able to pay up for it. For the amount you get, you do not get much uses out of one bottle. I bought a bottle of 30, and the dosage is 3 capsules before drinking, and then another 3 capsules before bed (if you can even remember to do so by that point). So for my money I got 5 days use out of this, and I still had a hangover on 2 of the 5 days. Ultimately, these pills do help a little, but I would still recommend being vigilant with monitoring your hydration when drinking heavily. Having a glass of water between every few drinks, as well as a glass of water before bed would be a smart move. You can also check out Flyby Fuel, which is an electrolyte supplement you add into water for better hydration that gives you a lot of bang for your buck; certainly more than you get from these pills.
I have tried a few of the "hangover cure" pills on the market today and they all seem to be pretty comparable. Flyby will be my go to since it is the most cost effective and has similar results to the more expensive options. The pills can't reverse bad decisions however; I am almost 40 and dont bounce back like I used to. With this product, and supplementing water throughout out the night, you should be fine in the AM. I am usually up and out to the gym the next day by 7 - 8:00 AM. I also have to do a fair amount of wining and dining with clients for work and these can be a lifesaver in those scenarios. I would suggest giving it a try!
I have tolerance while drinking but get hangovers easily. I also have migraines, which I think are triggered by anything being askew, so drinking can aggravate those. Most of the negative reviews, unless I'm mistaken, seem to be from people who are drinking 5+ drinks at a go and with mixed types of drinks. I don't usually drink more than 2 or 3 and usually stick to lighter colored alcohol. The label on this product says to take 3 and then 3. I've found that even 1 helps. I'd suggest drinking a lot of water before you go out, taking 1 or 2, having your fun, drinking more water, and another 1 or 2. (With more water on the bed stand for when you wake up at night. Chug a bottle, what's it gonna hurt.) People do react differently to alcohol though. I even read about some poor bloke whose body produced alcohol on its own; so he walked around affected all the time and would even test positive for consumption. Amazing!
Bottom line, I believe this product works. It's certainly a better post-drinking experience than just drinking water or eating food does. I also think this works better than Drinkade. Drinkade would clear my head like magic the morning after but my still slightly roiling stomach was always testament to last night's escapades. The Flyby formula seems to be able to correct for that and makes for a great morning after experience.
So I rarely get severe hangovers as long as I eat and have some water before bed (which I believe is because while I still drink 5-6 drinks on a big night out, it's a vast improvement on my party school college days). The next day is usually just a bit run down. Hangover cures like Flyby make it feel almost like I hadn't drunk at all. It's scary effective. Like magic demon potion effective. My partner, on the other hand, has always had severe hangovers whether he had two tallboy beers or took shots all night. Hangover cures for him always have 1/3 effectiveness. The next morning the cures leave him functional, which he claims is still a miracle blessing. His experience with Flyby is that it's more the behavior monitoring is what worked. Making sure to eat with the doses and have the water before bed ensured he wasn't flying off the rails. Which makes sense and why overall, I still believe this product does work as a hangover cure. Would definitely buy again!
I think the product works pretty well for what it is supposed to do. Obviously I would love if it could cure 100% of the crappy next day symptoms of post alcohol indulgence but nothing can be expected to do that, so as far as something that is meant to reduce that horrible next day experience and make it a little less awful, it does exactly as advertised. I clearly still had some annoying hangover feelings but being a pretty heavy drinker on the rare occasions that I drink anymore, I know for a fact without taking this I would probably not have been able to get out of bed for a few days so it's definitely worth trying if you are someone who gets horrible next day symptoms like I do.
I am always curious what supplements work to make me feel better after a night out. As I have gotten older it seems like the hangovers get worse. I have to be active in the mornings so being hungover isn't really an option. I have tried Pedialyte, electrolyte capsules and solutions (cheaper than pedialyte) and a couple other capsules or 5 hour energy like shots that are supposed to remove the toxins and leave you clear headed. None have worked as well as Flyby. My only complaint is the price of it otherwise I would give it 5 stars. It seems expensive but it does work. I have even bought DHM separately but it did not work nearly as well. Whatever the formula is for this combination of ingredients is by far the best cure I have found so far. If you well want to feel better after a night of drinking I would highly suggest this. I usually take 3 pills once I start drinking and that does the trick. I feel so much more clear headed in the morning than I would normally.
