Interferes with tracking

They don't work properly - they interfere with tracking fairly regularly, causing your controllers to vanish.

They are comfortable, and protect the controllers - so they might work for a slow paced game, but for something like Echo VR or Beat Saber, avoid them.

Quality: 10/10 The quality is great, especially for the price and the fit and form is exactly as described. Ordered a black one, and was able to fit the silicone right on the controllers with no issue. I was worried that it might get stretched out and floppy in the process, but it remained tight

Function: 4/10. Even though the holes are cut out, it still interferes with tracking, possibly cause the silicone is too thick around the IR light loop, blocking some of the light hitting the cameras when the controller is at an angle. This is noticable eapecially in fast paced VR games, specifically Beat Saber. But I also had problems in Boneworks, where the controller would lag behind. Also battery changing would be harder, but that's not that big of a deal because battery life is pretty long and getting a silicone grip comes with the cost of covering the battery door.

So yes the controller is well protected and feels great too. But it doesn't function as a VR controller anymore and VR gaming is all about a functional controller. Breaking that totally breaks the immersion, which is why I'm returning this product.

I travel, a LOT. I use this with my Quest in random hotel rooms across the country. I have been in the moment so much that I have ran into doors, hit door frames bare knuckle, and even came close to smashing a window. While my hands and knuckles may have suffered my Touches did not. They are still harm free with only a little smudge of dry wall dust.

So, why the 3 stars? Every since using these things Touch tracking gets lost very often while using rapid hand movements and gestures. In the heat of a game I don't want to be thinking which way I am pointing before I pull the trigger since my hand is apparently a meter away from my body. So 3-stars, they do a bang up job with their function ad purpose, to protect the equipment; yet they limit lengthy, high movement play. I still use them to this day because I would rather protect the equipment then protect the play. I find it an additional challenge.

Note to Vendor: Grip and under rung is solid, don't change this. Thin the material on the ring and make bumps thicker to make up the difference.

UPDATE:
I found these as the root cause for the loss of touch tracking. The only benefit at this point is the added grip to the Touches, soon I will be modifying these rings to attempt better signal.

Puppy chewed my Oculus controllers leaving them scratchy and uncomfortable. These selves look fantastic, fit perfect and don’t move around. They do not interfere with the performance at all. Oculus should ship with these (hint hint)

Good protection but tracking issues occured

Caused tracking issues in Beat Saber, slower games didn't seem to have much problem. . Only on the right side but controller would suddenly report being feet away from body, then also have minor tracking issues like pointing in a different direction but still in hand.

Took of these grips, no issue after 10 songs. Put them back on and issue started again within first song.

They are nice, maybe slightly slippery, but fit better in my hand so it felt more secure when gripped.

Definently helped protect against small hits when crossing over. But not worth the tracking issues.

After having broken the sensor ring on one of the controllers (was able to glue it back together, no performance issues) I wanted to get a cover that included protection for the ring. I have not had any tracking issues with this skin (had tried using Gorilla Tape for protection before, major tracking issues and had to remove it). My son plays Beat Saber a lot and he has had no problems.
The only issue I had was installing it, the side button did not align properly. Had to widen the hole to make it fit properly.
