Works well for encouraging clippings to root. It takes just a few days after applying and setting your clippings in water before you see them grow roots. I tried some clippings with and others without the product, and there is a big difference. My clippings have since grown into healthy full-grown plants. A little goes a long way - I'm into my second growing season and still have plenty left.

I'll change to 5 stars if it actually works but you can't beat the price which I got cheaper than normal as a Amazon add-on item. For those trying this out, be sure to NOT put the cuttings in direct sun! The leaves will wilt, turn black, and die. And do not keep them indoors during the day either. I put my cuttings in 4" pots and I put all the pots in a plastic bin with no cover. Some people cover them and even enclose them to retain moisture. I do not. I just water them when needed. Each morning i put them under my deck stairs where they get plenty of daylight but no direct sun. And I take them in each night so them pesky possums, skunks, and raccoons won't rip them up. It takes a LONG time to get roots, like 2 months, so be patient. My cuttings are all 1 week old and none of them show any signs of dying. I'm not going to disturb them and check for roots until the 2 months is up. I'll give a update when the time comes.

Works Well With Fresh Cuttings And Water

These seem to work on fresh cuttings and in water. I tried non-fresh cuttings and also fresh cuttings in soil and it did not work for me. So now, I'm using fresh cuttings in water. I'm giving credit to this for the roots that formed, but honestly think they would have formed on their own, but this just really quickens it. Pruned my mint plant and used it on the 2 cuttings. Put them in water and waited 2 weeks and their roots were really nice. Wanted to make sure they were big enough before putting them in soil. Now my mint cuttings are happy in soil and growing big. Used on several mint cuttings and it is working. Also used on my lucky bamboo part that I pruned off and it grew one small root in a week so that's something. Still waiting for it to grow more, but at least I know it's working. Slightly disappointed that it didn't work well in soil. Also the powder kinda floats and then sinks to the bottom when you put it in water. Maybe I should just add it to the water next time and stir before putting in the cutting? I will try that at some point.

- Fiddle leaf ficus [didn't work]
- Lavender cuttings [ worked fairly well]
- Succulent cuttings/leaves [didn't work]

I've been using it on my succulents for a while now. They SEEM to be rooting quicker but I will be honest it may be my imagination haha

I had tested it on one pot of elephant bush clippings, and had a second pot of elephant bush clippings without the powder. The pot WITH powder had about half the cuttings come in quicker than the pot without powder. The other half rooted about the same time as the pot without.

Considering how cheap it is, I will just choose to believe it helped and continue

Haven't got the result yet but it is easy to use, just wet the stem slightly and stick it in to apply the powder then plant into your soil. I will see soon how well it will grow.
The problem is Amazon packing, no box or wrap to protect it. Bottle was covered with white powder because inner seal was broken. Looks like someone used it and returned, then re-sold to me.
I requested replacement and quickly got it. This time it is tightly sealed and no leak was found.
