Muy práctico y adictivoReviewed in Spain on 19 March 2020

Well written text book! Superb!
Don't botherReviewed in the United States on 5 March 2020
Despite OTW's reputation, this book is for beginners. He touches on each topic VERY lightly ( something you could learn from the blogs). I expected more unorthodox pentest techniques but's it's your typical run-of-the-mill beginner-level hacking book. I suggest you look elsewhere. Some of the commands don't even work.... totally disappointed. I was hoping for a tutorial-based transformation of a compromised system to a Command and Control system.

Very Helpful for Professionals Transitioning into Infoseek FieldReviewed in the United States on 8 September 2020
This book was clearly written for smart people who may not have an extensive technical backgrounds. I came into the field with lots of international relations and history, but not a lot of tech background. Understanding how adversaries think and attack, is an extremely useful step to informing decision makers in both the public and private sector, and enable them to remediate threats and vulnerabilities. This book really helped me get better at my job.

Not complete as is.Reviewed in the United States on 18 February 2021
In order to use this book you have to have a working version of Microsoft Windows 7. This means I would have to buy a licence. I don't like the idea of buying a book and then find out I need to spend another $10 - $15 dollars to be able to use it.
