Has 3 M.2 lanes.
Overbuilt, high quality board components.
Modern board with support for current 10th and future 11th gen cpus, as well as eventual PCIE 4.0.
Minimal, tasteful design without a bunch of ultra bright LEDs and played out gamer aesthetics.
Constrained CPU cooler space, doesn’t fit a Noctua NH-D15.
USB3.0 headers are very delicate, I made the mistake of snapping a pin when building which has never been an issue before 😭.
Thunderbolt header doesn’t work, might be because I’m using all 3 M.2 lanes but not sure and wasn’t bothered to troubleshoot.
Hibernation in Windows 10 does not work. I spent weeks testing and trying to sort that out, normal and hybrid sleep work fine.
BIOS is quite complicated and surprisingly lacks the RGB control that other Gigabyte boards have (looking forward to that being added in a future update.)
I have this board running a 10900K with 32GB ram in a Fractal Define 7 case with Enermax Aquafusion 240, quad Noctua fans in push pull and RTX 3090. Works wonderfully for audio and visual content creation as well as gaming.
PS - The first board Amazon sent me was a return or open box, it wouldn’t post - which was a colossal waste of time for me.
One star because it is very lame.
Loved all the bells and whistles the mobo came with but sadly this thing seems to be defective. Also heat sync's seem to be quiet poorly executed.
