It was breathtaking and if you have not already read the other amazing books A waltz for Matilda, on the road to Gundagai, to love a sunburnt country and the ghost by the billabong. It all comes together once you have read them all!

This book is an excellent read with a great plotline ad colourful characters. Although this book is fun and interesting, I believe it is the worst out of the Matilda Saga. This is beacuse there are a few parts in the middle where the story drags on. The Matilda Saga by Jackie French is definatly a worthwhile read!!!

Another great read from Jackie French. Loved the beginning of each chapter being a diary entry and then the rest in the third person this worked very well. Would have given it 5 stars but it was a bit credulous and slightly predictable but then that's what you want in a light read.
