Kacey Musgraves presents her 4th album Golden Hour. The multiple Grammy-winning artist co-wrote and co-produced the album with Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian. Kacey reveals, “I had a different mindset this time, which was feeling rather than thinking – leading heart first.” Her most intimate album to date, Golden Hour, is introduced with two key tracks, the captivating and melancholic “Space Cowboy,” and the uplifting, dreamy “Butterflies.” Golden Hour follows the massive success of Kacey’s critically-acclaimed albums Same Trailer Different Park, Pageant Material and A Very Kacey Christmas. Both Same Trailer Different Park and Pageant Material debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, with Kacey becoming the first solo female in 5 years to top the chart with a rookie release and only the seventh to do so in Nielsen SoundScan’s 22-year history. Kacey has won 2 Grammy Awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Song (“Merry Go ‘Round”), 2 CMA Awards for “New Artist of the Year” and “Song of the Year” (“Follow Your Arrow”), and an ACM Award for Album of the Year.
From the manufacturer
Country superstar Kacey Musgraves fourth album Golden Hour, see's her follow her heart which meant trying out new styles as well as writing some of the most honest and genuine tunes of her career. Though she once expressed interest in making a reggae or surf rock album, Musgraves describes her new LP as having a 'trippy' twist, citing the Bee Gees, Sade, and Neil Young as influences. And while she’s often celebrated for her clever wordplay and witty turns of phrase about small-town life, Musgraves says she avoided wrapping every lyric 'up in a little bow' in favour of more direct, reflective songwriting. In addition to reuniting with previous collaborators such as Luke Laird, Shane McAnally, and Natalie Hemby, Musgraves sought out pals Ian Fitchuk and the Silver Seas’ Daniel Tashian as her primary co-producers and co-writers.

Only recently discovered her voice and this album will have a permanent place in my collection.
Quality of CD and recording quality is great on the copy I got.
Equally impressed and in love with 'Pageant Material' and 'Same Trailer Different Park'.
Looking forward to future albums.

good lyrics and a beautiful voice. This album grows on you and I find myself playing it more and more. Hope she comes to the
UK on tour at some point as I would love to hear these songs live. Highly recommended.
Her country is painted in modern, containing elements of pop, electronica and even hints of R&B. Peaceful yet assured singing and dreamy production often wrap listeners in magic immediately - either you know that you are somehow familiar with the tunes already. Or - you want to play the album again, as it happens to me. And this happens to me very rarely (even though I listen to music every day).
And another miracle - the album was showered with Grammies, including Album of the Year. As deserved as ever.
Of all the cool tracks, some yet stand out - Butterflies, Space Cowboy and Rainbow.
It’s less county than her other albums but with disco influenced songs like “high horse” it’s still incredible!
She also shows her melancholy side which I love, with songs like “Mother” and “happy and sad”. Her lyrics and melodies are so clever and genuine.
She’s an amazing and unique artist and I always look forward to what she has to say and what she’ll release next!
