This is a great scope for the price, however I'm not sure it can be water proof as advertised with the poor molding quality of the outer casing, maybe i am being too picky, but I would prefer there wasn't a gap in the seem line.

I bought this to view the birds in my garden, and it does that job well. At a range of about 20 yards, the image is clear (I put it on a better tripod than the one supplied).Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2021
But - I was also hoping to use my Iphone to take some bird pics. You can judge the result for yourself, but aligning the phone lens with the scope was more difficult than I had imagined.
Not yet tried astronomy, hoping to see a Rover on Mars.
