A whole book with lots of excellent info, photos.Reviewed in Canada on 28 April 2021
I started gardening with cloth bags 7 yrs ago, after seeing them on display. I found bits of information here and there but now it's super to have a whole book with nothing but grow bags. There is so much covered in this book!! Very well presented with loads of photos and info.
Great read!Reviewed in Canada on 11 April 2021
Excellent resource of information! Will be keeping and revisiting it often for reference in future projects!
Good on bags, not so much on how to actually use them to plant a gardenReviewed in the United States on 18 April 2021
I’m always a little leery when a brand new book has nothing but 5 star reviews day after day within the first few weeks of it being published. I overlooked it because I really wanted to know about grow bags and this seemed to be the only book on the subject. While extensive in covering the bags, very little practical help about how to actually plant your garden. Tomatoes? What size bag? 5 gallon? 10 gallon? Can I plant 2 or 3 cucumber plants in one bag? What height bag would be best for peppers? He mentioned being inspired by Mel Bartholomew of square foot gardening. After Mel described everything you needed about your raised gardens, he then told shared the best way to plant almost every kind of vegetable there is. The author shared a few things in detail - strawberries, a micro green bag, a stir fry bag. I now know all about bags. But I’m going to have to go look elsewhere to find out what I need to know to actually put them to use. Thank you.
