Got this since I'm having a mid-life crisis and decided that learning guitar was an awesome idea. in all seriousness, this is a great buy for the price, its sturdy and looks pretty premium for what you pay. Definitely a solid buy. Best of luck for all of you striving to master the guitar. Just keep in mind that if you had started five years back, right now you would be amazing so don't quit and imagine your progress in the coming years my fellow guitarists.
This capo looks and feels great and will be functional on most acoustic and electric guitars that have roughly the same fret width as a strat or equivelant, however it is simply too small to cover the strings comfortable past the 3rd fret of a classical guitar fretboard, and even then it leaves little to no wriggle room. Luckily I've got a spare capo that does work for classicals. Otherwise for its price this is decent. The reason I chose this over other similar or cheaper priced capos is because of the wooden look. It looked great in the pictures and it looks great in person too!
If you are using it in the first 4 or 5 frets, you will need to be careful to ensure is grabbing all 6 strings. From there, if you want it to grab 6 strings, it will be more and more difficult. In the pictures it looks very big and that will handle any guitar, but not it isn't. Design is very nice and mechanics works very well, really I'm not sure why is so small, probably they were trying to save money with some part of the process.
Seems to be good quality. I only just got it today, so I can't talk about the durability yet but the entire thing is made of metal with a wooden print so it looks nice and I believe it'll hold together well if you don't force it or use it inappropriately.
Clamps the fretboard well, with no string humming or problems with the sound. It is very easy to move it around if so desired.
Overall I'd say it's worth its price and does the job to an acceptable standard.
