Our Mission Statement
Take out the classic consoles and get them set up in the simplest way for modern displays that are omitting old cable hookups.
This is an affordable & convenient option to get good video quality when it comes to retro gaming.
Go back and experience all the things you missed as a kid: the games, the consoles, the controllers.
RGB brings the best possible visual experience out of classic PS1/PS2 (PlayStation1/PlayStation2).
So you can see the more defined colors, the clearer graphics and the sharper pictures when using RGB, compared with using AV.
The example describes RGB vs typical display methods (S-Video, composite, RF) is looking through a clean glass window vs a dirty one.
Make sure "Component Video Out" on PS2 menu is chosen to "RGB" mode or image can be tinted green because this cable need to utilize RGB signal.
Manual Adjustment on TV
This cable has been specifically calibrated for PS1/PS2.
However, final output doesn't only depend on the cable quality but the games you are playing and television quality.
Try to adjust the backlight, brightness, dynamic setting or other parameters on TV if you want to improve the display more.

I was very happy to discover that this cable is compatible with playing playstation 1 games on a playstation 2 console - something which I was not able to do with other cables of this type.
The cable itself is good quality, and comes with an instruction manual for setting it up. The creator of the cable is also active on twitter, with direct messages open if you should have any questions.
Heavily recommend this product for anyone looking to play playstation 1 or playstation 2 games on a modern television.
I had tried other cables but they are nowhere near as good picture quality very impressed.
Only down side is it was imported from US so had to pay import charge and wait a week for delivery.
This device certainly outputs in 720p, but it "upscales" the image by softening it similar to the way Anti-Aliasing works. As such, nothing looks sharp or defined at all. Even higher resolution games like Gran Turismo 4 look blurry. I am also getting what appears to be a scan line on my screen; there is a faint horizontal line that stretches across the screen and slowly travels upwards.
It's worth mentioning that the sound is much louder and seemingly higher quality through HDMI vs component; however, this benefit is hampered by the fact that the video doesn't look much (if any) better than you would get from a ~$10 component cable. Your mileage may vary; perhaps I don't have the best TV for this device.
UPDATE: I brought this review down from 2 stars to 1 after a few days of trying to get along with this device. This thing is absolute junk. PS1 games have over-scan issues and do not fit on the screen. I can fix this on my TV, but then PS2 games do not take up the full frame. Additionally, a blue tint washed over my screen after a few hours of intermittent use. Straightening the cable going from this unit to the PS2 fixed this, but it's a testament to the shoddy build quality of these things if the angle of the built-in wire can cause some colors to drop out.
-Improved audio levels and quality
-Doesn't stick several inches out of the back of your PS2
-Horizontal line on screen
-Overscan issues with PS1 games
-Overall typical cheap Chinese build quality
-Cost compared to similar products of the same quality
