Until now, I loved these wipes. They were thick, sturdy, not too wet, totally odorless and incredibly low in questionable ingredients.
The reformulated wipes have new added chemicals and preservatives, at least one of which I was specifically avoiding.
The new wipes are noticeably thinner.
They're too wet.. Almost soapy = baby gets thoroughly dry much more slowly.
They stink.
(I have smelled the same odor on a couple other brands in the past).
My husband noted that they don't come out of the container as easily.
For me, they used to be worth the extremely high price but now it's really "six of one, half dozen of the other" with several other less expensive brands depending on which ingredients you're considering.
The package reads "new + improved" but I feel frustration and anger.
My photo shows the newest package on the bottom.
Ingredients of the newest package:
Water (Aqua/Eau), Glycerin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Punica Granatum Juice Extract, Decyl Glucoside, Citric Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate
As of April 22, 2019 the Target stores in my area still had stock of the version we love, we stocked up.
