To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I agree with several others. If you read “How Not To Die” you do not need this book. The “how not to die” book gives plenty of reasons why to go Plant Based as a healthy lifestyle. If you have a friend who already bought the book all you need to read is pages 558-569 to give you diet ideas. “How Not To Die” totally changed our eating habits s for the past year. We both unintentionally lost weight, feel better and healthier.
I really wanted to give this 5 stars, and I had marked 4 stars when I started the review, but ... I HATE that they did not include the footnotes. The further I get into the book the more annoyed I am that they are not included. The customer shouldn’t have to either write a list of footnotes to check later or get their phone and scan the QR code every time they want to follow up with an included study or newspaper article. They should have either included them in the book or added a second book and sold it as a boxed set. Hence the 3-star review. I don’t think I’ve Ben this annoyed with what would otherwise be a great book in several years.
