Sound is fine, but some of the worst quality hardware I've ever seen.

The phone part works fine; it linked to the base and sounds fine.
But the hardware is complete garbage:
1. when I was setting it up the headband part wouldn't attach (so I had to use the ear hook),
2. the silicone part that goes into the ear wouldn't clip on and kept falling off (I had to hot-glue it on),
3. a few days ago the plastic housing for the battery broke (I strapped it all together with electrical tape)
4. and now the ear hook broke as I was putting it on. Just broke!

I have stuff that's lasted 40 years - I'm not hard on things. This one, I've had it for 2 months, maybe less. The ONLY reason I have this thing is that it's one of only 2 models I can use with the VTech phone - the other one is really not very comfortable and a lot harder to use. If I could go back and buy a different phone, I would! If you need a headset, I'd suggest finding a headset you like and then finding the phone to go with it. The good news: I did get a refund on this headset; will use that refund to find another solution.

Se configuró fácilmente a la base que tengo de teléfonos V Tech, es ligero, tiene sonido que se ajusta para subirlo o bajarlo y tiene buena recepción en cualquier lugar de la casa aún si lo subo a planta alta. Lo único es que no se me hace muy cómoda la goma que trae para el oído y después de un rato puesto comienza a molestar, por lo demás buena compra y llegó en tiempo y forma.

Pairs easily with AT&T base, decent sound and mic

I purchased this used to be paired with a AT&T TL96273 phone base, but out of the box the headset was flashing blue and already paired with a different phone base (likely from the previous owner). I searched the net and found that to do a hard reset, you press the following key sequence: VOL+, ON, VOL-, ON, VOL+, VOL-, ON. The ON button is the actual light at the front of the headset that you can press on. The sequence worked like a charm and then I was able to pair it easily with the new phone base. Audio from the earpiece is ok but I wish it could be a bit louder (even on the highest volume setting, as my office waiting room can get a bit loud). I tested the sound quality of the mic by calling my office from my home and left a few voicemails. I compared the AT&T handset phone, this Vtech headset, and a Panasonic handset phone. The Vtech headset mic sound vs the AT&T handset was about the same in volume (Vtech headset was a bit thinner sounding). The Panasonic handset sound was a bit louder than the other 2, but not by much. So overall a decent headset that's very lightweight and comfy to wear hooked on the ear (if you don't like to wear the pinching headband style). I'm just a bit worried that the flimsy looking thin ear hook piece or the mouth mic piece will break easily, but time will tell if it lasts.

I simply cannot say enough bad things about this Vtec phone systems... since installing it I have had nothing but complaints from customers. The phones are staticky and obnoxiously loud for the person on the other side of the line. It's so bad that some customer have even stopped calling us, just to avoid the sound.

We bought two of these for our office because we have the VTech business telephone system. They are incredibly easy to connect and very easy to use but they do have a bit of an echo-y sound, as the VTech phones do too. Nothing major though. They have really really great range and are very easy to adjust to your fit, thanks to the many many different sized attachments they give you.
