This book is really good because it has a lot of funny parts and it also very good because it is nice and long I recommend this for ages 7 and up because it has got a lot of pictures.

this was boring because it was. this was grose And unhighgenic. an anoying book with a bad ending. no one likes it exept that horrible thing some one rote and gave it 5 stars.
My son has just turned 7 and is a proficient yet reluctant reader. This book has literally sparked an obsession with reading, he can't get enough! I was initially wary of the author, as i'd read that his books are perhaps not for younger readers. I started off reading this aloud to my son at bedtime, and he was so eager to find out the ending he read it himself - no small feat for a child who, until now, had been opposed to even reading short reading books sent home from school. In the past couple of weeks he's read most David Walliams books and most Roald Dahl - we're running out of books to keep him happy! Highly recommended - a gripping story for 6+.

Is it not false advertising, when on the front cover encircled in a gold star it says "FREE WOOLLY MAMMOTH INSIDE",. Now most people, me included will think there is a woolly toy to have or send for free, but it turns out to be a " CUT OUT " on the back cover of the dust jacket. I'm not saying anything about the book because it's a gift and I have not heard of it before till I was asked to get it for Christmas but it was a let down to see the cut out of the woolly mammoth.

The problem is to do with the book cover. The reverse side of the front cover is not glued to the cover itself so that the book spine is also exposed and looks as if the book is falling apart. I bought two of these as presents for grandchildren and am disappointed that the publisher/book binding company has not done a better job. It's a simple enough job to stick but I shouldn't have to.
