How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I liked the stories collected. My only gripe is that they are a bit short. Some really talented writers here. Correia needs to write a whole book or series starring Acosta, the character is that interesting for me anyway.

Great Collection!

Great catch all entrance into the Iron Kingdoms. Each short tale shines a narrow light towards a piece of the setting. Gives you a tidbit, a bite of something that when you finish reading this collection, makes you hungry for more. Great authors and a quick, exciting read. I have recommended this to all my gaming group and would tell anyone to buy it and enjoy it, because you will.

Pitiful

I'm not particularly fond of short stories, but I would be telling a large untruth if I were foolish enough to call these short stories. Each of these struck me as partial chapters of actual stories. To say I am disappointed would be a gross understatement.

I actually started by reading the individual issues of season 2 and loved them so much I just got all of season 1 in one book.
It was great, exceeded my expectations, and I'm buying more books set in the world.

This hit the spot with respect to having a smattering of quick stories to give the feel for the Iron Kingdoms
