I have a 15.6'' laptop (it's the maximum possible size claimed to be compatible with this stand) and I wasn't very attentive when I ordered the stand. It's only 6.5'' wide, and the description says so. However, the picture in the description makes you think 6.5'' is the distance between the inner edges of the planks, while it's actually between their outer edges. The inner size is 5''. Also, the photos in the descriptions most likely include laptops smaller than 15.6'' screen diagonal. Since my large laptop is only supported in the middle, it shakes a little bit while I'm typing.
However, this thing is well made, sturdy and folds easily, all materials look durable. It makes watching movies on my laptop more comfortable. And I couldn't find similar stand that was significantly wider, so I decided to keep this one.

Excellent stand for the Xiegu G90

I already owned the stand with fan for the G90 that Xiegu sells, but wanted something lighter that I can bring when operating portable. This stand works very well for the G90 and folds small enough to pack in a go-box without taking up much room. Seems to be built well and has pads in the right places to keep things from sliding around.
If I didn't know any better, I would think that it was made just for the G90. It looks like it will also make a good stand for a tablet which I believe is what it was really built for. I might pickup another.

Just what the doctor ordered (literally!)

In addition to ordering this laptop stand, I ordered what looked like a sturdier and more premium stand as well. I ended up returning the latter and keeping this one! Not only was was it less than half the price, but it was also more stable, compact, and actually fit my laptop’s curved bottom lip! (for context, I have an HP Elitebook 840 G6)

It brought my webcam to eye level, and I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard since the keyboard and trackpad were now propped up.

I sent a picture of my desk setup to my team and they all asked what was propping up my laptop, so I sent them this collage.

I love how compact this is! It comes with a nice little leatherette pouch, and the box it’s in is about the size of a pencil case.

Only good for laptops with a flat bottom

This laptop stand is only good for laptops with a flat bottom and also don't have any feet that interferes with the stand. I have used this with two gaming laptops so far, and it doesn't hold the laptop well. The MSI GE75 Raider with a 17.3" screen works okay, but the stand scratches the plastic bottom of the laptop. The Lenovo Legion 5i with a 17.3" cannot stay steady on the stand with falling out tipping over from behind. I think this stand is only good for Apple Macbooks and Razer Blades.

Since it has uses for other devices like a tablet or book, it's worth keeping. It also comes in a nice pouch too.

I bought this stand for an unusual reason: my laptop doesn't ventilate heat very well. The fan inlet is on the bottom, and it just can't get airflow. This stand holds the laptop at a comfortable position for typing, but it also opens up airflow under and behind the laptop. I've been working from home with this stand and I love it. I recommended it to one of my colleagues, and he loves his stand. When we go back to the office, this stand folds down to a slim pack and fits in the included bag. I can tuck it in a corner of my laptop bag and take it with me everywhere. Highly recommended.
