This thing for $13 is great, however do not buy if you have the pencil. It's a great interim case with minor blemishes in the build.
- The fit is snug but odd. 2 tiny lips hold it in place on one side while the other has huge amounts of support. The 2 tiny lips are at the bottom when the stand is used, so far so good but could be a problem in the future.
- Pencil not supported, I knew this going in but just to add the point.
- Magnetic cover is loose. It does everything it should but doesn't stay in place, it slides a bit which could be bad if this is your permanent cast solution.

The value speaks for itself.

Build quality is good, the fit of the iPad seems a bit weird at first but is held in place fairly well. The flap that covers the screen does not stay in place nearly as well as I'd like but for $12 it is a serviceable case and a good stop gap until I get the Apple smart keyboard folio.

Might not be as suitable for those wishing to use the Apple Pencil, as the only side giving complete surface contact for the magnetic charge facility is within the hinge side. I don’t use this facility, therefore I can’t give a definitive response.

I purchased the new iPad Pro and obviously needed a case - given the fact the Apple version is £85, I figured I'd try this one and have been very pleased. When I first opened the box, I did think it felt a little cheap but after fixing it to the iPad and using it for a day or two, I was wrong - the case feels well made and although not quite as good as the Apple version, there is not enough of a difference to warrant the price of Apple's vs this.

The case also seems to have a couple of magnets on the back that hold the flap in place when using it as a stand which is a nice feature and stops the case collapsing when typing etc...

So, waste of money this one, the case part seems ok, but the cover part simply wasn’t designed properly. Firstly the hinge for the cover is far too long so when the cover is closed it slides beyond the screen by a fair amount, far more than I’ve ever seen a iPad case do, and secondly the magnets are far too weak, so with those two things combined the cover simply doesn’t have the ability to hold to the screen well enough for me to be confident in its ability to protect it or even just to stay together when holding it in certain ways. Looks like I’ll be spending more money now in the hopes of finding another case for my new iPad.

Bought as a stand in while I wait for the ESR cases to be released on the 19th Nov.

I’ve never liked these cases to be honest, the front cover never stays in place (it wobbles about) and as a stand it just doesn’t work at different angles.

The actual iPad fits fine in the case it’s just the front cover that isn’t very good quality.

For £10 I happy to use it for a couple of weeks but can’t wait to get rid to be completely honest.
