I subtracted one star because when playing music from the micro sd card, it only plays the right channel, and not the left also. It does that with the USB audio as well. I was very disappointed when I discovered this. I knew it would be mono sound since there is only one speaker, but I didn't expect that it would isolate one channel when you play from the micro sd or USB audio. Fortunately, the fm radio plays both channels combined, and so does the line-in. I have a small fm transmitter that I can connect to the headphone jack of my mp3 player so that I get wireless sound via the built-in fm radio. Plus, I can connect the line-in cord to the headphone jack of my mp3 player and connect it directly to the speaker and it plays both channels, too.
I still recommend these speakers for their sound quality, price, and utility. I'd like it if someone were to make these again, but fix those simple problems it has. Make a cube like this with two speakers and the ports on the back. Or at the very least, make it so that the one speaker plays both channels at once.
I hope that this was helpful.
