In the new normal half of my time is spent online on meetings through Zoom, WebEx or Microsoft Teams. Putting on he earphones for long hours is very uncomfortable. Bought this speaker phone, expensive but its a pleasure now. Audio quality is good and never saw anybody complaining about my voice on the other side now.
If only Jabra could give a setting to adjust the Bass or Treble setting to adjust some voices.
I can not find any product that competes with in its range. I am on call for over 8 hours a day and working from home. It's great as it has good noise cancellation and I do not have to put the earphones for long hours. Once you get used to it.... you just love it.
This speaker phone may be expensive but it has fantastic voice and mic quality. I do not think it has been mentioned before, but it can connect to 3 devices at the same time; 1 USB and 2 BT simultaneously.
I have used Jabra USB speakers for years. The previous models (with a USB wired connection) held up petty well until 2020 when apps like Webex would glitch out intermittently. So decided to upgrade to the new 720 as I could connect via Bluetooth directly to my phone or my laptop.
Unfortunately, the new 720 does not work well for over half the calls. It struggles with computer over audio with Webex (creates an echo for all the other conference attendees), so I dial in over the phone to for audio - even then, the speaker gets "confused" when toggling Webex to mute/unmute. It also sometimes just garbles the sound. I have had to drop out of far too many calls and rejoin using just my iPhone - it makes you look unprofessional to colleagues and customers.
I'm debating whether to return or to keep the speaker. It does pretty well, as just a speaker for listening to conference calls where you don't need to speak, or toggle between mute/unmute - though even then, audio has dropped a few times after about 45mins.
Finally, from my laptop, I cannot get it to play audio for videos that I play through a browser, which is a big issue.
