I pre-ordered this book as I usually love Jamie’s cookbooks. It arrived today and at a first glance was just as good as any other, but upon reading it more throuoghly I realised that several of the dishes have appeared before in other books, and I didn’t think there were any new terribly exciting recipes. It felt very “same-y”.
To summarise, if you don’t have many of his books it’s a nice book with good recipes. For a more die-hard collector like myself it was a bit disappointing.

High percentage of useful recipesReviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 November 2018
The best Jamie book to come out for some time. With his previous books I find myself going back to a small handful of star recipes but here I feel 90% of these recipes will be used time & time again. Well worth the investment.

Brilliant 1st CookbookReviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 December 2018
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law. Of course he hasn’t received it yet, but as a cook/baker myself and a fan of Jamie’s show, I knew this book wouldn’t disappoint. The recipes seem different enough from what he usually cooks, but still easy to make and prepare too. There are also a few vegan and vegetarian recipes in the book and as a vegan myself this made me happy, as he now has no excuse not to invite me over the next time the family get together ;)

Save your money for something elseReviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2019
Jamie takes pretentious to new level, a book where there’s a photo of him posing or cooking with a celebrity. I really liked “Ministry of food” and “super food family classics” but definitely not this book

Jamie’s Friday Night Feast CookbookReviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 July 2019
I like the show a lot and ask myself, if there would be a cook book for the recipes on the show, and here it is, found on Amazon. The book arrived in excellent condition. Thank you.
