Book Description
This book was inspired by a big idea (and a bit of a mad one)- to train a team of disadvantaged kids to become chefs and help them open a top-notch restaurant in London.

Review
Jamie's Kitchen guides you through tried and tested methods for classic food that's full of flavour (from publisher's description)
The re-run of Jamie's Kitchen in September 2003 brought in Channel 4's second biggest viewing figures of the year - topped only by Big Brother. 'Jamie offers lots of his chunky, hunky dishes for feeding the hungry, and slathers the whole lot with ladlefuls of encouragement' Daily Telegraph 'This is simply brilliant cooking, and Jamie's recipes are a joy' Nigel Slater 'Jamie's still a class act. The food is scruptious and easy to prepare ... should re-ignite even the laziest cook's passion for food' OK! --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Not very impressed

Very average. If recipe followed to the letter the food doesn't taste so good. So you will need some experimenting. But if you're a fan of J.O. cooking then it's something to have I guess. For me, it's more of a shelf item rather than being used.

A big fan of the TV series and this book doesn't disappoint. Great use of unusual ingredients without being too cheffy.Beautiful large format makes most of some great photography. Will flick through for ideas again and again.
