To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I set a code and opened the box a total of three times before it decided to NOT open with the code I had set. I should have listened to the reviews. I contacted the seller who in the box claims to offer a quick fix if that happens. They sent me an email telling me to break the lock according to the attached video. There was no attached video. So my meds are locked inside with no way to access them and no credible response from the seller. Don’t waste your time or money. I bought a box from another seller and it works just fine.
The lock & coding process worked on the first try. By holding the box, I feel like it’s good for preventing theft if a visitor is over, or if a maid is cleaning your room. However, if you’re talking about a determined criminal, I think one could throw it against a wall or bang it with a hammer and I’d assume they could get into it. You’re also only buying a half hour or so with a 3-digit code. Good for a purpose, but don’t expect wonders.
It’s okay. You should know that it’s very “tinny”. Know what I mean? Like very metallic and hollow and rattl-ey. I was hoping for a nice quiet, well made case but it’s more like nonstop clanging metal noises as you handle it. I guess that’s fine for a cash “tin” but it really should be called a tin. I was looking moreso for a nice lockable case / box. It could use a nice velvet base inside or some rubber pads on the outside bottom. Or a rubber liner around the opening so it feels softer and more high quality. It’s basically a rattley tin can. I’ll probably buy something else.
Do not buy. I went to open it today and the lock is jammed and the knob is stuck and won’t work. It worked once when I set the combination and opened it again. I went to put something in today, and it broke
