The illustrations are lovely, with interesting detail to encourage discussion, and the simple rhymes are great for engaging toddlers and developing new vocabulary. Above all, the book offers an excellent introduction to basic counting, taking you through the numbers 1-5 page by page with the help of different animals. The final spread brings all the animals (and other creatures) together for a game of find and count. Highly recommended.

Lovely pictures, nice rhyming sort and of course the main selling point all the parts of the book that can move.
