There is a good range of sounds, and it does all it is advertised to do. Only drawback is after turning off, it forgets what sound and volume you had chosen, so when you turn it back on you have to press through to the right volume and sound all over again.
I've been helping out a friend who owns a business, but the decline of customers has left it difficult to know when someone walks in the door. I purchased this motion detector door sensor to be alerted when someone arrives : It's very sensitive and I ended up covering the side to keep it from always going off. It has numerous long musical jingles, with many old recognizable songs. Mostly I have it set on the brief ding or the "Hello Welcome" voice setting which does have a slight accent. In all, it does what it is supposed to do, but it is rather loud. I'm pleased with this purchase and it helped with business needs quickly!
this works pretty good for the price i use it in the garage when im working so no one can come up behind me without knowing , if my wife creeps slow enough it won't sound a alert and sometimes it just doesn't detect at all but for the most part it does a pretty good security job and i don't have to feed it.
I would have given this 5 stars if the volume could be lowered. It is a great inexpensive way to announce visitors. With COVID-19 it is especially helpful so I don't need to keep my office door closed shut all of the time now that I can hear anyone coming in.
I use these during paranormal investigations as perimeter alarms. I can set out 2-3 with different sounds and know (without looking) where an alarm is sounding. Excellent in what I use them for, but they do break easily.
