This monitor is not exactly cheap, in fact it's more expensive than 23 inch FHD monitor from Samsung, whilst Kenowa is basically a noname Chinese OEM with poorly translated manual. But of course 23 inch Samsung wouldn't be portable and USB-powered with such low power consumption. For roughly the same amount of money you could also buy a low-end Android tablet, i.e. touchscreen display of the same size, but with processor, RAM, storage, battery, wifi and OS. But of course it's not the same category of hardware, and these portable monitors are now pretty expensive for what they are because there's not enough competition in this narrow specialized niche. If you're looking for a small hi-res USB-powered display for a Raspberry Pi, there's not too many alternatives. The quality of Kenowa is not bad, and it's not a bad choice to run some home automation applications or dashboards.
