Another brilliant read that kept me glued to the book.
Following Sage's rescue from the Scythians and it's mad warlord, this book is about her journey from slave to warrior - I loved it. Everything rides on her, Jasmine and uniting the surrounding Kingdoms to fight against the warlord. Especially enjoyed a couple of suprises in the book, you have to read it to find out what they are.
Also, overcoming her pain and fighting her demons as well as acknowledging her true feelings for Tehl as they gear up for war. I can't wait to read the next book

This book is an intermission between what came before & the finale. But it has many important moments that bring us forward, woven with a sense of restless anticipation. Wanting to meet the greatest foe & quell him, but having to prepare. Oh & you’ll fall a bit more in love with Nali!

Not for me.

I have read and purchased the first four books of this series (unsure if there will be more), and I cannot fathom how books 3 & 4 are written by the same person as the first two. The first two books were so intriguing and well written I just had to purchase the third book. I felt the whole storyline with the 'villain' in book 3 was shockingly bad and poorly executed and then everything after that was a shambles. I went onto purchase book 4, praying it got better but alas. Book four is not as bad as book 3 that's why I gave it two stars. I hate to be so negative but I was so disappointed with how these turned out. However, I would definitely recommend people read books 1 & 2 they are very good.

The characters and storylines of this series are engaging. I find myself anticipating the next page before I am finished reading the one I am on currently. So looking forward to reading the ongoing tales of The Aermian Feuds. Well done!

I love this series. Please write more. My only issue is that nothing happened in this one story.

Too much PTSD
Reviewed in the United States on 28 October 2018Verified Purchase
I’m sick and tired of this currently fashionable and overused plot device. In previous installments she had PTSD due to a different situations. It’s all forgotten- new one appeared and replaced forgotten old one. Can you just stop beating us over the head with the same plot device and put it rest? It’s unbearable and cliche! Also boring, repetitive and uninspired. Give us back the heroine from book 1 - this one is just too weepy, wimpy and frightened yet continues on being stupid. Wake up! Yes, bad things happen but we want someone that can inspire, overcome and be a warrior she was supposed to be. Hated the book - only some sexy times with her husband saved it from 1 star review. I guess one needs to read it to understand the dynamics between the main couple - one chapter would have taken care of it instead of reading mush about her diving into memories at the most inopportune times. Grrhrrr.
