While it's a nice way to keep the body of the camera secure, you can still pop out the interior camera away from the body. I think the description (anti-theft, prevent theft, security device, "protect your camera from thieves and vandals", etc.) of this product is misleading because it ONLY protects the body from being taken easily, not the camera. I have yet to find a truly anti-theft device for the Pro 3. Other products that seem to work use regular phillips head screws. While the torx screws are a little more secure, there are bits for those screws out there for anyone to buy. They are more of a theft deterrent, not anti-theft device. The Koroao Anti-Drop Chain is purely an anti-drop chain as in the title, NOT anti-theft as in it's description. I gave it 2 stars for it's usefulness as an anti-drop chain.
I did not test the strength of the wire yet, but I saw somewhere that the wire was easily cut. Definitely not anti-theft.

On a side note - I would return it, but I already opened it and used it. And I can't stand how Amazon resells open products - I have gotten many products that were apparently opened and used with missing packaging.

Yeah, a huge-A$# chain would be best, but might not look that great, so this fits the bill exceptionally well. It's a simple addition, which honestly should come as a manufacturer's option extra, that is very easy to install and better ensures that your very expensive cameras will not be stolen by those targeting the cameras themselves, or by burglars removing the camera(s) to protect themselves from being recorded.

Smart, practical item. I highly suggest this item as a necessity for your cmaeras.

For the time and energy you would spend putting together a similar system it's worth it to buy these pre-made cables. They will easily catch the camera if inclement weather knocks them off of the mag mount. I use them in my backyard cameras so I don't worry too much about theft. These would help deter a thief trying to quickly grab and run with your camera too.
