32MN500M-B 32'' Full HD IPS Monitor with AMD Radeon FreeSync
Full HD IPS Display
LG IPS panels allow you to enjoy lifelike picture quality with minimal variation from wider viewing angles. Featuring superior consistency in colour temperature and less change in contrast, LG IPS panels boast excellent image reproduction.
AMD Radeon FreeSync
This LG monitor features AMD Radeon FreeSync technology that helps reduce the tearing and stuttering that have plagued gaming enthusiasts for years.
Dynamic Action Sync
Dynamic Action Sync Mode allows you to see the action as it occurs in real time so that you can react immediately rather than respond after the delay of internal frame processing.
Black Stabiliser Mode brightens dark areas and gives you better visibility in dark scenes. It can make dark areas brighter to help you find the enemy or game objectives hidden in the dark.
Crosshair allows you to centre the target more accurately, essential in first-person shooter games.
OnScreen Control is simple and intuitive. You can customise your display options with a few simple clicks.

The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the short, unmoveable stand. Annoying, but not a problem. When I plugged it in, my jaw dropped. Blurry icons and fonts. Washed out colours. It looks terrible. No amount of fiddling would fix it.
One review said it looked good for movies. From a distance. And that is true. But I need this for office work.
I got a headache after 30 minutes.
I returned it the next day and popped into that shop which sells many supplies for your office, big or small. I found a competitor's monitor of a slightly larger size and a resizeable base. Oh, and $20 dollars cheaper.
When I got home, I was very satisfied. Everything this monitor isn't.
This monitor is a poor value and a waste of money. This monitor should not exist. This monitor takes too long to ship. This monitor should not be sold.
Needless to say, I do not recommend this product and suggest you look elsewhere.
I mounted this using the VESA mount to my monitor arm and aligned it in portrait mode. The stand that comes along with the monitor is not height adjustable.
Picture quality is alright as expected from a 1K screen. I have set it to low brightness and contrast to save my eyes since I intend to use it as my 3rd ancillary screen for looking at non essential debug logs, chat windows & mails during work. But, if you are used to Mac Retina screens and 4K UHD monitor then better stay away as you cant really use anything less that 2k screens for primary office use.
The bezels around the screen is about 1.5 cm and 2 cm on the bottom, typical for a budget monitor. I think its a good choice if the intention to buy the monitor for gaming as free-sync and 75hz refresh rate are great features at this price point.
After wasting time troubleshooting myself, I went back to Amazon who instantly tried to replace or refund it. I'm a bit of a greenie, so I really didn't want to waste all that energy without at least trying to get the one I had to work. They directed me to LG which was a pain because they wanted a receipt number, but Amazon didn't give me one. After more phone calls than should be necessary, LG agreed to give me "general support" because I couldn't prove that my monitor was legally purchased (WTF!). After a bit of more troubleshooting, taking cables off my other electronics etc, the lady realised that this monitor doesn't even have speakers!
Even though I could find a volume knob, there were no speakers. Volume knob is for headphones apparently. I though speakers were a standard function, but it's not at LG. I now have to buy new speakers that can fit into the headphone jack. completely nullifies any savings I made on the product.
Really great screen and easy setup - plug in and go. Comes with a HDMI cable to plug in to laptop. Did not need any program download or anything. Works as a great second monitor with my laptop (HP Elitebook). Recommend
Edit after 8 months and just under 2000 hours of use: Works perfectly fine. Kinda confused seeing other reviews complaining about this monitor being blurry and having washed out colours, I didn't encounter any of these problems, and the 1080p resolution doesn't pose a significant lack of pixel density, especially at 24".
If you want to watch TV or play computer games, this monitor is the right choice since the quality of
the panel would not be that important.
However, if you buy this monitor for CAD or Reading articles with fine characters, you would better to spend a little bit more money on your next monitor. In 2020, FHD on 24inch could be a little bit rough.
