My husband and I recently moved into our apartment only to discover that neither the master or the guest bedroom came with overhead lights. Which brought us to purchase two of these. They were a little more stressful to install than anticipated but they give off a good amount of light. Paired with our bedroom lamps there is just enough light in the rooms! (The pic is shown without our extra lamps on). Only thing I'd say is don't put two of them too close together!! Our guest bedroom is right across the hall from ours (like maybe 30-40 ft apart) and anytime the remote is used in one room it powers them both. We didn't realize that the remote was meant to reach up to 80ft. This may get annoying when guests come but for now we can live with it.
