Beautiful Lancome eye shadow pallet! Lancome beauty products are really amazing, since they are the biggest cosmetics company in the world, they really know what they are doing!
PROs:
1. Shimmer — all four colours are shimmery, except for the base ivory colour on the right. I really love a beautiful subtle shimmer in eye shadows, and especially seek them out before the holiday season!
2. Colour pay-off — colour pay-off is really good, couple of swipes with a brush, and you are done. I love that, saves a lot of time and it lasts all day. By the end of the day, my make up still looked intact, without falling on my cheekbones.
3. Brushes — I usually don’t like the brushes that come in a set, but the little blending brush (at the bottom) works well for the corners of the eyes or to pack colour quickly if you are in a rush or on the go. The brushes are magnetic, which was a nice surprise.
4. All the colours complement each other, and can be used from day to night.
CONs:
1. The blue colour was unimpressive — I really loved the blue in this set, gives that extra pop of colour, but in reality it turned out unimpressive. The colour pay off of the blue is not as good as the other colours’. Maybe it’s designed to be used wet, which I haven’t tried yet.
The Eye shadow can be used dry or wet, which I haven’t tried yet but it’s nice to have the option. Overall, I highly recommend this hypnose palette, the colours are really lovely and complement each other, and the pay off is great.
