High Quality Laptop with Performance Super Well and great user experience

I super like it. Actually, I HATE TO GIVE 5 STARS because it is only a couple of weeks I am with this laptop. But, this laptop has been super helpful so far helping me with personal project. User experience wise: this laptop is super light.. to what?? to my iPad Pro 12.9” - the iPad Pro is heavier. but this X1 Carb is just very thoughtfully designed.. Quality: the feeling is superb. High quality product. Hopefully don’t break anytime soon ; well, I am trying to be careful using it as much as i can. Performance; so zippy. open the lid, and I can work in a couple of seconds... no distraction.. awesome.. Not much different from iPad Pro.. only thing the ipad can not do programming on MT4 - which is can’t be used. OVERALL, it unfortunately takes over my iPad Pro from my day to day computing, diarying, idea-ing, thinking (hence the name ThinkPad !!!).. Sometimes I felt tempted to sell the iPad Pro although I still love it for other thing...

Ultra Light, long lasting battery but fragile touchpad and no ThinkShutter

X1 Carbon Gen-6, a $2500+ AUD laptop is amazingly light weight and has super long lasting battery with top class performance and no heating problem, though the fan made some cranking noise initially which surprisingly got fixed by drivers updates.
It doesn’t come with ThinkShutter as mentioned in the product description.
The touch pad is the major disappointment, it’s so fragile that within just 10 minutes of using it there are scratches all over it, the used area has become shiny and it appears as it its age old. Also, near the edges of the laptop where you rest your palms, it gets marks from the top lid rubber padding, which was not expected from such a premium laptop.

Got this 6th Gen X1 Carbon for 1 week, it's good in design, typical Thinkpad as usual, but the wifi speed does annoy me. Very slow on everything you need to do with internet. I regarded as my wifi problem, then I figured out it's the laptop itself. Did some google, bunch of similar complains overthere without any solution from Lenovo. So still dont kown what the problem is and how to solve it. It's quite shocked to get a new laptop with this stupid problem in 2019!! Considering to return this item. Please do some research on the wifi issue for this one before you buy it.

Had the X1 Carbon for around 2 months and the right arrow key on the keyboard has decided to fail by popping out. This is from decidedly light use and is quite surprising considering the premium price of the ThinkPad line. Additionally, don't expect any help from Lenovo support who have instantly replied with denying qualifiers for warranty and instead opting to capitalize on the fragile design by quoting me repair prices. Don't make the same mistake I did as it is a pricey device.

I'm very impressive about its weight and size, easy to carry along with you while it is performing an excellence job. an anti graze screen is a plus bonus to share the screen to your colleague, but take care there is an other pair of peeping eyes. The screen is clear on most of the viewing angles.
