fantastic for outside

I got these for outside on the side of my house where I have a footpath but it was poorly lit, so I got this to fix it. the installation was nice and simple, just drilled into the brick and installed it that way, they are solar-powered which is a nice feature too since I don't need to worry about powering them.
the quality of each of the units seems nice too and pretty weather-resistant too.
the lights are nice and bright too so now I can walk along the path at night when I take out my bins.
overall would recommend it.

Don’t work as displayed.

I bought 8 of these items. They are supposed to have 3 settings. The settings don’t work. One of the settings, the one that I want, which is continually on dim and go bright when movement detected does not work. It works on the first night and turns itself off the next day and each one has to be physically reset the next night. Bloody hopeless. If I knew how to get my money back I would.

Lights are bright and work well. Motion detection is prompt and dimming works well when the right mode is selected. They came with screws to fit the two holes on the frames. I decided to use a strong double sided tape instead, as I wasn't sure of the final position on our house. If it turns out to be the right spot, I'll end up screwing them to the wall. One out of the four lights which arrived doesn't work at all.

Early days but so far it looks good... the sensor detection is quite good and the brightness is great too. However, I think it stays on only for a short time before turning off. It should stay on a bit longer... not sure this can be adjusted.

i have now tested these lights for a couple of months & they are bright and very sensitive to movement .
have attached them to the front & rear of our caravan so we have some light at night.
They do need lots of sun to keep them charged .
