Lisa is a homeschooling mom to eight kids, ranging from teen to tot. She’s also a freelance writer, virtual assistant, and blogger.

But, owning a business hasn’t always been Lisa’s goal. When she was younger, the only thing she planned to do was teach. She earned her master’s degree in elementary reading and literacy, and taught for seven years in the public schools of Washington. Then, the time was right for her to come home and teach her own children.

Lisa loves animals and enjoys life on the family farm. She and her family spend evenings playing board games, kicking a soccer ball around, and just hanging out together. They also enjoy loading up the little family school bus and exploring the back roads of beautiful eastern Washington.
