came short

For a photography book it really came short; small pictures, generic scenes and overall small book.

Disappointed
Reviewed in the United States on 21 February 2020Verified Purchase
I expected a combination of pictures and texts, but not a short quote with no relationship to the pictures, no story.
The legend of the pictures is in the back of the book, which is less enticing (I do love indexes, but I prefer the legend of pictures to be with the picture).

dissappointed

What a disappointment! In my opinion, the photography isn't that great, it's a style in which the shots are tightly cropped so you only see a portion, not full frames. So this is not what I was looking for. Had I paged through the book at a book store rather than online I would most likely not have purchased it.

Not a coffee table size book at all.
Reviewed in the United States on 20 May 2020Verified Purchase
ordered this book and a few others for my living room table, but this one is very small and not at all what is expected with a "coffee table book" in the description. If you are looking for a nice large book, this is not it.

What a wonderful and charming book. I adore Paris, and recommend this to anyone else who reads and wishes Paris was tomorrow!
