Light weight mouse and all the buttons are light and easy to press and easy to distinguish from each other - even the ring finger and pinkie side buttons. I am a female with an average sized hand and find it on the largish size, but comfortable. Ambidextrous which I love as due to shoulder problems, I use both left and right hands equally throughout the day. It is very flat front to back. There are 5 available profiles - where you assign tasks to the buttons. I have set one up one profile for my right hand and a mirror image profile for my left hand. Let me assure you I am no computer scientist, but I literally had it up and running within minutes of opening. I cannot get it to connect to the Logitech Unifying Software as it comes with its own gaming dongle. No biggie, just connected the dongle to a USB-C dongle on my MacBook Pro and good to go.
Oh, if your left click button starts double clicking, google it (not YouTube) and tech writers have you covered (not a problem on this mouse, but previous Logitech mouse had the problem) I did something along the lines of going into accessibility and changing the cursor speed, worked just fine.
It is probably great for gaming too, but as I am all thumbs the gaming world is safe from me.
But that damn scroll wheel! Logitech calls it "infinite scrolling" and basically when i'm trying to scroll down a website it either goes way too far or randomly scrolls back up or down another notch. For games where you use the scroll wheel to switch weapons its a nightmare, you try to change guns and the single scroll turns into a double or triple and your back to the weapon you wanted to switch from!
Think i'm going to have to return it as it's absolutely horrible and unusable for my use case.
The receiver is not the universal Logitech type, so couldn't sync it to my keyboard which was disappointing, but I gather it is done via "lightspeed" tech which is better for gaming etc etc.
I returned it initially as my battery sucked, but was issued with a full replacement & have had no issues so far.
Nice mouse :)
edit: I have now changed my review to 4 stars, as while I think the mouse is great, it's developed a double clicking issue. Given how ludicrously expensive this device is, I can't fathom how I could have two significant issues within 6 months of purchase. I have received a full refund via Amazon
