The build quality and screen are very good for a 1080 monitor.
I was expecting a real ASUS pen not a $1 pen with a rubber button on top. I thought I was getting one of the ASUS active pens that would justify the high price for this monitor. It was an ink pen with a rubber button on top, not really worth advertising they are included a pen.
Also, the case is very different. The monitor does not snap in or is protected. It is a folder that folds over the monitor. It is magnetic but it isn't anything like a case for a Surface or Ipad. It is a bit awkward to set up and the monitor is free to move on the stand. I find the monitor slides of the stand frequently.
I just got it a few days ago so I can't comment on how long the battery will last.
