It's compact, has tons of lightning effect and doesn't look cheap.
But there are some drawbacks, keys are not solid because switches and keycaps are not the best quality
I wanted little bit more quiet keyboard and picked red switches and they re pretty loud even with o-rings and really hard to type on due to lack of tactile feedback and really easy to missclick, for gaming it os okay.
But of you never tried mechanical keyboard before and if you don't mind how loud they are just go with brown or blue switches, tactile feedback is something you should try.
Still deserves 4 stars because of the pricing if you don't have a budget to spend at least $100-150 for a keyboard you can't go wrong with that one.

Keyboard arrived only 6 days after I placed my order and was packaged well.

Easy to simply plug in and get going. Light display is beautiful, keys move smoothly without any resistance (I chose the Red Switch option) but yes, it is a little noisy but it doesn't bother me. Nice weight to it and feels sturdy.

Not much else to say aside from I'm very, very happy with this product! If you're looking for a more affordable alternative to Razer's Quartz series, definitely pick this up! You won't regret it!

Because my work require a lot of typing I'm using mechanical keyboards for quite awhile and tested many of them. This one I bought for my son, for gaming purposes and for the price I'm quite blown away how much you are getting.

First of all this is true RGB keyboard, so every single key can change colour, not just different colour rows you can see on multiple inexpensive chineese keyboards. Something you definitely don't expect for the price. Apart from different lightning schemas you can define your own presets (5 or 6) choosing the colour of every key.

Secondly switches are very solid quality. It is not a cherry switches for sure, but they are definitely red switches, and very pleasant to work on. Please note that red switches has linear resistance, so ideal for gaming where need to press the same key 5-10 times a second is quite common requirement. Blue/Brown switches are better for typing due to tactile feedback, but makes your finger tired faster when playing games due to bigger resistance, and has bigger key release latency, so please make sure that switches will serve your purpose well.

I cannot say the keyboard is louder than any competitors for that price, keyboard noise is something you can expect from the mechanical keyboard.

Build quality, switches quality and cable quality is solid. Key caps are inexpensive ABS plastic with high profile, and I don't expect anyone would change them to something fancier. They serve the purpose well anyway.

Overall I can conclude that the product is excelent considering the price. Definitely can compete with mid-range keyboards from the bigger brands.

Cheap but w flaws

UPDATE: after 3 mos the w key is acting up on me and isn't as responsive.... That is... Very important for a gaming keyboard.......

Overall good value for money since it's fairly cheap, but there may be better options out there. My major complaints are:

1) From my picture you can see warping on the right side; it looks like they tried to force fit the board into the case. (Btw I changed the keycaps on mine but it's the same product)

2) There's this echo you get everytime you type or hit the base, similar to when you his metal. I didn't notice it at first but a week into using it I can't unhear it

Keyboard is not bad, however the wireless usb receiver is not in the package, can only use as wired. Have requested for return.

Update: finally found the nano receiver which was well hidden in the packing foam. Happy with the wireless mode so far, pretty responsive, a bit noisey but thats blue switch meant to be, bumping up to 5 stars.

Great value wireless keyboard

Overall, a great, value for money 87 key wireless mechanical keyboard. There is a slight clanging/tinging sound when typing, as other reviewers elsewhere have noted, but nothing major. The only real downside, for me, is the font used on the key caps. It’s not as clear as I would like but, for the price, it’s a minor gripe. I may look to replace the key caps at some point in the future but will see how durable the keyboard is before doing so.

EDIT. I decided to investigate the pinging and, once I had all the keycaps off, I noticed the metal “board” was actually cracked, between the 0 and 9 keys. It’s on its way back but I’ll likely buy another (once the red switches are available again) as there’s little else out there that’s of equal value. I did have my suspicions that the one I received might have been a return anyway, as the box also contained a manual for a completely unrelated Kogan mechanical keyboard, so, perhaps, I was right.

I love this keyboard so much !

It's an incredible budget keyboard for gaming that feels nice with no pink tax.
I haven't had any lag , the keys are all responsive and the RGB settings look so nice.

It has a backlit wave and a rainbow setting which i think it really nice for a £40 mechanical keyboard.

The only "issue" I would say is that the keys themselves do feel a little bit cheaper , they pick up quite a bit of dust but they are so easy to take of so you can clean the keyboard.

You can also always customise and change the keys so they feel a lot nicer like I have done !

The red switches can be pretty loud too so go for the blue ones if it's something you're cautious about.

It's only been a few days but I really am enjoying it . It's the perfe t size for a female , can each all the keys without difficulty . Has a lot of difdenr light setting and I love that . Keys are also amazing and work well .

If you need to game late and you have someone in the room I think it might be a little clicky as it is a mechanical keyboard . But very very happy with the buy .

the keyboard is sooo nice and clicky, there’s different lighting modes for gaming but the main one is the rainbow - each key changes colour (:

some of the buttons are weird... it’s US layout but when i press 2 for @ it does the £ (it doesn’t bother me so much but it is weird)

some of the keys sound a bit squeaky (the up arrow key especially) but it’s not thatttt bad
1 problem is also that if i move the wire slightly it completely turns off the keyboard
