I use this daily at work. It's much smaller than other torches (it's smaller than a whiteboard marker pen) - I even had someone go to take it out of my pocket as they needed to 'borrow my pen' (although I did question their eyesight!).
In 8 months of use I'm on my 3rd set of batteries (but as I said, it gets used a lot). I've noticed a distinct drop-off in brightness when the batteries are nearing the end of their life, so tend to change them quickly when I spot that.
However, my main praise must be reserved for just how bright the light is! It is so much better than the old 'bulb' maglites. It is powerful enough to light a path when it is pitch black, and there's no 'black spot' in the middle of the light. It also weighs very little.
I think the simplest test of how useful something is to you is: If you lost it today, would you buy another tomorrow. My answer is yes, without a doubt.
Added this one to my collection, I find it has a very good high intensity beam for such a small torch, 100 lumins not 111 as stated.
The only criticism would be the pocket clip, once fitted to the torch it has a tendency to move around if caught whilst holding or operating the torch, but apart from that a very handy discrete in size torch
