I have not had the pleasure of reading any books by this author so I was delighted to find that I really enjoyed this story. Lady Jeweliana is a very determined women who has made a deal with her Father that she get to choose the man she will marry after her first season. If she chooses the man that she can love and respect and also get her Father's approval. If this does not occur then her Father and Mother will get to choose for her in an arranged match. Lord Darlington is not interested in marrying anytime soon but his father has stated in his will that his son will not inherit his money until he marries. His mother on the other hand is determined to see her son married and she and Lady Jeweliana's mother try to encourage a match between her son and Lady Jeweliana. The story was short but sweet and I loved the bookshop scenes. I recommend this book and author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed this book, light easy reading the characters were believable, I liked the fact it was a clean romance for a change. I would recommend this item for a bit of light reading.
This particular Regency Romance started with a very knowledgeable-beyond-her-years 10-year-old child who makes a bargain with her father. Nine years later she had to fulfill that bargain. The story line is sweet and simple, with a happy ending. A few grammatical errors were noted (those being a pet peeve of mine) but nothing too glaringly obvious. Overall, a short and good read.

Fitzwilliam delivers a lovely little romance where love is finally found but not where the characters expected. This stand alone is not heavy on historical backdrop but the writing flows easily enough to transport the reader into a wonderful time of discovery of true emotions. Please enjoy it as much as I did.
