First play,ok,a bit cliche maybe?A few plays later, and something was stirring, that recognition of maybe, just maybe,a great,GREAT album.Which it really is.If you do not buy this, you collection is incomplete.
This is a lovely album! Stormin' good stuff! Nice and heavy with great licks and lyrics. I think it was tragic bassist Cliff Burton's last record with Metallica - though I could be wrong, not being a massive Metallica fan. I hadn't heard 'Master Of Puppets' in many years and I'm glad I purchased it for a bargain price (£3.50 inc P&P). I'm starting to think I prefer it over '...And Justice For All...' (my previous favourite and the only other Metallica album I own). Actually I think they're both great albums from a transitional period in the bands career. Check that s*** out!

Great, great album, but the vinyl mastering is very quiet. Dynamics and textures are all there, but I need to double the volume to actually hear it -which in turn amplifies the surface noise etc - a real shame.
Arrived promptly and in excellent condition. If you need a review of the quality of this classic then this genre is not for you. Stick to k-pop and leave this to the big boys.
without a doubt, their best (in my opinion) every track kills and it brings me right back to when i first bought it back in the 80's when the band could play and knew how to deliver. i think the band should sit down and listen to this again and remember what they where about. bought it second hand so i don't increase their bulging bank balances. cannot stand them now. their music, style and prima donna attitudes.
