It can be stiff to go on, but I use a brush and that worked well. However, this wears off just as quickly as other eye shadow. Even using a primer. You'll only get an hour or two out of it, and it disappears.
I love this eye shadow. I received the Creamy Beige as I wanted. I was nervous because the color pictured is different. I do not use this as an eyeshadow I use it as a primer for my eyeshadow. Creamy Beige is light enough that it's not really bright and since it's more of a cream it makes my regular eyeshadow last that much longer actually all day. Worth trying if you are looking for a primer, since I use earthy tones the creamy beige is a nice addition
I absolutely love this eyeshadow - and the maybelline ColorTatoos in general - but this shade in particular. I'm very low maintenance on the makeup front (if it takes more than 5 min, I'm not here for it) and this is a holy grail product! I have pretty oily eyelids and I just sweep this on in the mornings and it gives me a very put together look with about 10 seconds of effort. It lasts really well throughout the day and, if I'm feeling less lazy, acts as a great base for powder eyeshadows. Highly recommend!
I love this color! I'm quite pale, and it's not too dark, but still kind of smokey on me. It actually has more of a matte quality to it than the other darker color I also got, but I honestly prefer that. And it definitely lasts all day.
I used to exclusively use the Sephora Make Up Forever Cream Eye Shadow, but they stopped selling it. The ColorTattoo isn't quite as high quality as the Make Up Forever, but it's much more affordable and still a really good product.
I love this stuff, as a part of how I do my eye make up in the morning this is almost like a color primer on top of your normal primer! First, I put on the traditional primer on the lids, then I put this on lightly evenly over my eyelid, with a dedicated brush used only for that. Then, I will do my normal smokey eye with copper and brown hues. I've been doing this for a long time, I get compliments on my makeup and jealousy when it lasts all day long even in 110 degree heat in the summer. I enjoy how easy the application is and this is an essential in my makeup kit.
