Das Beste bei diesem Gerät ist die geniale Idee einen Offline Spotify Player zu bauen .Startschwierigkeiten hin oder her und bei aller Liebe für Startups verstehe ich nicht warum man dann ein so mangelhaftes Gerät in den Markt bringt. Warum hat man keine Kooperation mit einem namhaften Produzenten gemacht um ein technisch einwandfreies Gerät zu produzieren. Die Akkulaufzeit liegt realistisch bei lautem Spielen bei 1,5 STD maximal. Ist natürlich ein Witz wenn man im Marathontraining 2-3 Std laufen soll. Bei der Hälfte war nun der Akku leer und ich mußte den Rest ohne jeglichen musikalischen Zuspruch laufen. Jeder Sportler weiß von was ich rede. Das wichtigste bei jedem Sportartikel ist die Verlässlichkeit. Wie es aussieht ist nahezu bedeutungslos. Dazu kommt noch, daß man eigentlich nie weiß ob das Geräte auch wirklich ausgeschalten bzw. irrtümlich eingeschalten wurde . Hier würde ein echter Ein/Ausschalter hilfreich sein. Die Ladeanzeige zeigt oft 100% kann aber nicht stimmen wenn es dann nach 30 min schon wieder leer ist. Ich habe nun in der Verzweiflung ein 2 Gerät gekauft um hoffentlich damit 3- 4 Std Laufzeit zusammenzubringen . Alles ein Witz eigentlich, ein Prototyp hat nichts im Verkauf zu suchen oder sollte als Testgerät bezeichnet und auch so verkauft (verschenkt ) werden. Eigentlich kann ich nur hoffen das die Hersteller kostenlos nachbessern oder ein wirklicher Produzent auf die Idee aufspringt und ein Gerät in den Markt bringt das auch 90 $ Wert ist. Sorry , aber oft ist ehrliche Kritik die Basis für nachhaltige Verbesserung die eine WinWIn Situation für Käufer und Produzent schafft.

I'd been looking for an MP3 player to hook up to my Spotify account and use in the gym as I like to leave my phone behind when I'm training. So when I found the Mighty I was really excited and bought it immediately.

Unfortunately, the product fails to deliver on all counts. The user experience is totally unintuitive and the battery life is terrible. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to use it, I've left it in a drawer where it belongs.

Not usually one to give a poor review but its been about 3 months of fairly infrequent use and the battery life only lasts 30 minutes during syncing. That's without playing audio. Aside from this, the app interface is poor and connecting can be slow. Good idea, abysmal execution.

I bought this for long runs and especially for Berlin Marathon, but what a failure. The promised up to four hours battery life was not even close. It lasted about 3h 5mins, and it was NEW. And I ran marathon just below 4 hours. And the music is really important especially in the end of the marathon when you need to fight the most, and now I didn't have that as the battery was dead almost 1 hour too early.

Cannot recommend, and will return this. Would be also doubtful to buy the new model if the promised battery life is 25% less AS BRAND NEW. I might understand that battery life can go down after one year, but not as a new product. Or maybe mine was a broken one...

So beware and check your battery life immediately when you buy, so there is no surprises

This is a great idea and I'm surprised Spotify hasn't jumped on this themselves, at first it wasn't great but after I used it about 3 times it has been great every time after, I think there is a new one now and the phone app is alright though there is no way to delete playlists from the mighty on android? You have to format the device and redownload everything which isn't great if you like lots of different music for a run. Overall very good device and I use it all the time for runs that are around 1 hr long (losing around 30%+-10), I imagine this wouldn't be a good device for runs over around 3hrs and can be a bit temperamental however overall a very good experience, with the software update I would recommend!
