Wow, what a value. This stand shows up at my house the next day for $55 all-in ; incredible. I was worried that it would be a problem with my 2 curved CF390 series monitors, but it absolutely was a perfect match. The articulating arms are solid and fulcrum in all the right places. They secure just right too!
I performed a little modification when using the grommet option. I drilled an 11/32 hole in the desk top and discarded the upper large black metal grommet piece they included. I used a fender washer on the top of the desk sandwiched with the large included lower plate. Super clean, super strong.
As the previous reviewer stated, don't hesitate, buy it!!!
This thing gets delivered FAST!! Without prime, this thing was at my door within 24 hours!!
Assembly was straightforward. All tools required for assembly are included in the package.
The toughest part was the levelling of the monitors. There are small vertical screws right behind the Vesa plates which needs to be turned using the smallest Allen key. Sometimes it feels like they are not doing anything. My displays were around 1 inch off and seemed like levelling was not working. I kept trying various angles & then I don't know how they eventually got levelled!! I just screwed eveything up so whatever I did does not get undone. Make sure you tighten all screws around vesa plates or you will complain that the parts are loose. Even that last bit of screw turn will help.
It has parts for both options, table top or mount. The only disadvantages of table top are 1) It takes some table space 2) There are certain angles of the mount at which the stand can fall over due to weight of the monitors.
The cable managers are also valuable to have a tangle free space around the stand.
Overall a vey nice stand at a very cheap price point.
Overall: Would definitely suggest. It meets my expectations 100%, these guys didn't cheap out at all. Will do what you need.
Pros: - Each joint can be tightened (or loosened) - your monitors will NOT sway around - you can adjust them and they will stay in place
Great variety of height - It goes high enough for taller people - At a fairly comfortable height (eye level for a 175cm person) the monitors can rotate without hitting the desk. - All important areas are metal - Nice rubber feet (doesn't slide around) - I was worried that it might tilt, seems to balance well. I did not need to drill a hole in my desk, the plate worked fine - Well priced for the quality of material. - I was able to place it such that it isn't exactly at the center, instead I have it to the side, my main monitor is parallel with me, and the secondary is on a 45 degree angle. I was worried that the arms wouldn't reach. But it does!
Cons: - The arms cannot have a really low angle, at a point the metal hits it self. - This isn't a big deal because it goes low enough of an angle, but I'd like a little more maybe.
- The height adjustment is more of a one time deal, sure you can update it, but not on the fly like some other mounts.
Exactly what I needed. Very high quality and sturdy construction. Very easy to assemble. Required tools (hex keys were included) Lots of hardware included to fit you application. (Mine was a pair of Dell P2717H's. I needed to use the included spacers to get the bracket to sit flush with the back of monitor. Perfect fit!) Parts manufactured to exacting tolerances. Threading was precise. Designed with thoughtful and useful cable management clips. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a stacked-monitors set up.
DISCLOSURE: I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS PRODUCT WITH MY HONEST HARD-EARNED, AFTER-TAX MONEY! I do not get compensation for writing reviews. My reviews are based solely on my experience with the product and I tell it like I see it. It's really simple.
I have two 24" LG monitors that are not particular heavy nor light, and I have no issues with the stand holding them up. The balance of the screens however had me worried originally, but I can swing one screen away and the stand does not wobble or lilt at all. The only time it came close to falling was when I placed both monitors to one side and of course it stated to teeter. So so long as you aren't twisting your screens around like a marypole it is plenty sturdy enough.
All I can say is...WOW! I was skeptical at first wondering how on earth will this support two 24" monitors without being mounted on my desk, let me tell you it does it flawlessly. I was initially going to buy the clamp, but saw too many reviews of it damaging the desks of users, and opted on the stand model, no regrets. This was very easy to assemble by one person, as long as you attach the monitors laying face down on a soft surface, so you don't have to play a balancing game trying to stand them upright. I can swing the arms practically wherever I want, and the stand will not fall over. The only time you risk that is if you need to have both monitors super far from the base, which isn't natural in the first place. I would recommend this stand in a heart beat, I have two expensive monitors and have no worries about them. 10/10.
This stand is really amazing and makes your monitor set up look really nice. It also frees up a lot of space on your desk. Before I bought this stand I had no space to put my PS4 on the desk but now I have more then enough space for my PS4
Their are a couple of things to know before buying and assembling this stand
For the assembling you will need another person to hold the stand when you are mounting the monitors to it. I was trying to mount it alone and almost broke one of my monitors while mounting it on to the stand. Another thing I recommend to do while assembling the stand is to really tighten the screw for the height adjustment because if you keep it even a little lose the weight of the monitors will make the arms drop down slowly and the next day you’ll walk into your room and be like “why are my monitors not in the same height position”.
Another thing I would say is that the range of motion isn’t as great because if you move the arms all the way to the front, it will make the stand fall forward due to the weight of the monitors. If you are going to keep the monitors in one position and close to the stand like how I did then you shouldn’t have any problems with the range of motion.
Other then that I don’t really have any problems with this stand. It is amazing and I recommend this to anyone who uses 2 monitors for office or gaming use. It frees up a lot of desks space and it also makes your monitor set up look really nice and clean.
Seeing so many films with monitors mounted in all sort of stands, it's amazing I didn't think about this for myself. I was between having the monitors side by side, but opted for this vertical configuration so as to free up valuable desktop real estate and also get some decent speakers to go along with it. The stand is way sturdier than I thought and the base is wide enough and the posts sturdy enough that there's absolutely no oscillation (which was one concern I had with this vertical configuration). My Asus monitors had the VESA mounts so it was a breeze to get rid of the original monitor stands and get these mounted with the supplied screws. Absolutely recommended.
Wow!!! Yes strong as hell. Simple. Clean crazy adjustable and best of all! Easily holds 2 x 34 inch monitors with absolutely no problem amd tons of room to spare! As you can see I put the bottom one starting very high and didnt even put the top one at the highest point! Super amazing!!! Super stable!!!!
