There are some great recipes in this book but where it falls short is that it refers to basics like harissa or Moroccan seasoning without providing some typical recipes for you to make your own. You can also make your own preserved lemons but the book assumes that you have ready access to all of these items commercially. This is one of the very rare times I have been somewhat disappointed by a AWW book.

We bought this book because we really liked its wide range of recipes from spice blends to refreshing drinks, tagines and lovely roasts and nice deserts. The recipes are very clearly described and easy to follow. We also like the inspiring photos of what it should look like next to each recipe. Definitely recommend it to anyone interested in trying to cook morroccan food
p.s. we have been to morrocco and can say the results we've had are authentic!
Lovely little compact book, with lots of delicious dishes to try. Has plenty of illustration and is colourful and bright. Only minor issue is that the book doesn't lay flat, so you have to keep your page marked and go back to it as necessary.
We cook Moroccan about two-three times a week since having this book. Lots of diverse recipes, easy to follow, good flavours and a good price for the book.
