Our hero was a dashing man with secrets. Our heroine found him most attractive but too mysterious for serious consideration. Eventually our heroine realizes she loves him, whoever he is and finally our hero comes clean, revealing himself to be quite the catch after all. And there is no need to plow through an Epilogue or Extended Epilogue because there are none!
I found this to be an exceptionally enjoyable read!
"Who was that masked man?" We used to hear that question as the Lone Ranger and Silver road away from a place they'd just helped. In this Regency novel, the Lady Gabriella (Gabby for most) met her Duke and future husband at a party of the Ton. Gabby was in her second season. One of her brothers introduced the incognito duke to his sister hoping to help her meet her future husband. How she discovered that her brother's friend is a duke is wonderful!

I really enjoyed this book. When I got to where Mrs. Gray was brought into the story. I realized I had read it before. Such a sweet inspiring story! I loved it even more the second time I read it!
