Audyssey room correction is really great! DTS Virtual X (with update) creates a faux surround with non surround tracks. Heos connections to wireless speakers around the house, perfect! Plus it's reasonably slim, fits into almost any (deep) shelf. Very easy to setup and use via remote or app.
One of the best features is 4K upsampling for all your HDMI video sources... it really does clean up SD video very well... much better than my TV can!
If you're using inefficient giant floorstanding speakers, there is an output for separate amps. Mine feeds a mixture of 4ohm fronts (efficient floorstanders) and centre and 8 ohm rears (bipole) plus a powered sub with no problems at all, and can reach a loud level in a medium sized room.
Remote control feels a little but cheap, but very handy.
