How do you fit a 10-pound sausage into a 5-pound casing? This shapewear! Admittedly, I probably got a size too small. I'm 5'6", 145 pounds, US pants size 8. I tried the medium. It takes several minutes to get into these shorts, inching them up, little by little. You have to take your time. Make sure to use the bathroom before you start and don't drink anything all day. It overlapped my bra very well and didn't budge. And, holy cow, it made my usually waist-less body look like Sophia Vergara. My waist looked the smallest its looked since I hit puberty and my hips rounded out beautifully, like a Victorian corset model. I was even able to wear a dress that is normally too snug. Success!!! Then slowly came the feeling of strangulation and claustrophobia. And the understanding of how corseted women used to faint regularly and how this particular garment would not be a good choice for me to stand for much length of time and then eat my wedding luncheon (and cake!!!). Sadly, I began to remove it. This was even harder than getting it on. I started to panic and think I may need scissors. But, little by little, I was able to scooch it down enough to get my arms into it, and straighten them out. Holding my arms out from my body a bit, I found it much easier to pull the entire thing down. I cannot imagine trying to use the bathroom in this. A trap door would be essential. Bottom line: I should have tried a bigger size; miracles are attainable with this shapewear; it is overkill for my needs; it WILL NOT move once in place.
Bodyshapers are difficult because we all have our own expectations for this little article of clothing! I was looking for something to help with my mid-section and still allow me to breathe. I had ordered a pencil-style fitted dress to wear for an upcoming occasion and needed a little something to help "hold me together". This Nebility Waisttrainer Shapewear does just what I need it to do. It smooths out bumps, provides firm support in the upper torso, and is comfortable enough to wear for extended periods. (Only downside for me is that I would like to have more firm compression in the lower ab area as well.) Bonus is that the fabric is soft and DOES NOT MAKE NOISES WHEN YOU WALK! I think for the price, this shapewear is pretty darn close to perfect!
For reference, I'm 5'3" and 1381bs. I ordered M/L and it fit as expected, firm compression but allows me to move and breathe. Fabric is soft and comfortable and quiet! I would recommend this product.
This product is such a comfortable and breathable shaper for me. This was my first time ever wearing one and I can tell it was going to do some molding to my body. It was such an amazing feeling to know that everything was tucked in place and my dress looked beautiful with the flat tummy that it provided me with.
It is also very comfortable to sit and eat with. No issue being able to sit for long periods of time. When it came time to eat I was able to eat perfectly fine and it did not bug me nor get in the way of my appetite.
The material itself is very stretchy and tight but movable to mold around your body. It completely flattens the tummy area and hugs your sides to mold your body. It also provides a boost to your glutes and makes them look perkier. It has a corset like material going around it to provide support and won't move out of place. And for the leg area it is designed with the material that hides cellulite and it is amazing!! I got a M/L and I weigh 140lbs and I am 22 years old. The product did it's job in such a comfortable way. I have no negative reviews about this product.
Omg this squeezed my thighs so tight 'face palm' thought that it would make things smooth but instead squeezed a little too tight and purchased a size too big as someone said it would give a muffin top lmao still a size bigger made a muffin top ugh oh well great product to workout with not wear under my clothes as it holds you tight lmao omg why couldn't I just keep my early 20's body adulting sucks!!!
These could be great, but I did not get a good size. M/L fits more like a S/M. I think L/XL was not available when I purchased, but that would have been a better size. M/L looks very small but it does have a lot of stretch.
I am 5’4 155 lb. I had to squeeze into these and by squeeze I mean I literally struggled to get them on and they definitely cut into my thighs a lot.
Otherwise, yes it molds you very nicely. The material is also thick and comfortable. If you’re on the fence about sizes, I would go up.
I normally wear an XL. I purchased a 3XL and it fits. I was concerned the boning would poke but it is a very flexible cord that helps it not roll. It doesn’t seem like it will be a problem. They have a honeycomb moderately thick material. Shorter than most shaper shorts, which I wanted due to the side slit in my gown, but the leg openings are a bit small and tight. I plan to snip the inside seam a bit. I wish it had a gusset but I think “bathroom break” will be manageable since the legs length is short and are stretchy. Overall good value.
I love that it has a strong wire like material to keep it from falling down. I also love that it doesn't squeeze my thighs and show underneath a dress or pants. It makes my tummy (lower to be specific) very flat. I have 2 kids so this is great when I have a formal event and I don't want to worry about a little belly poking out.
